These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GEO Scorecard application ("we", "our", or "us"). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • User: Any individual or entity accessing the platform.
  • Scan: A request initiated by a User to analyze a publicly accessible URL.
  • Credits: Units used to perform scans. These may be granted monthly or purchased.

2. Account Registration

To use our service, you must create an account. We use Clerk to securely authenticate users. You agree to provide accurate account information and are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality.

3. Use of the Service

You agree not to:

  • Submit content you do not have the right to analyze
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the scoring process
  • Abuse forms, scanning systems, or platform tools

You may submit URLs for analysis and receive results for informational purposes only. The platform does not guarantee search engine ranking or performance outcomes.

4. Payments and Credits

The Service includes a free scan allowance and paid credit options. All payments are securely processed using Stripe. Pricing may change at any time and will be clearly disclosed prior to purchase.

5. Email Communications and Feedback

If you opt in to receive communications, we may contact you with product updates or newsletters via Mailchimp. You may unsubscribe at any time.

You may also submit feedback through forms powered by Resend. Abusive or malicious use of forms is prohibited.

6. Third-Party Services

We integrate with trusted third-party services to operate core functions of the platform:

  • Clerk for authentication and account management
  • Stripe for secure payment processing
  • Mailchimp for email communication
  • Resend for feedback form handling

By using our service, you agree that these providers may process limited user information under their respective privacy policies.

7. Intellectual Property

All code, scoring logic, reports, and visual assets are the exclusive property of GEO Scorecard. You may not reuse or redistribute platform materials without express written permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform for violations of these Terms or abuse of the system.

9. Disclaimers

Scoring results are for informational purposes only and do not constitute marketing or legal advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effect of any report.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of any updates.
